The Crown Hotel is located in the lovely suburb of Ahuriri, on the northern side of Napier, and boasts a fantastic beach-side setting overlooking glorious Hawke’s Bay. Part of the building is the original 1930s art deco style hotel and this is now complemented by a newer, contemporary wing which looks out towards the ocean. There is a range of guest rooms and suites, all designed to reflect the ambience of the area’s history but with elegant modern touches and luxurious furnishings. All of the rooms in the newer wing have a balcony with water views. The hotel has a house bar and for dining you are within a short walk of several good restaurants where you will find locally inspired dishes and fine wines on offer.
