The rivers near Queenstown are perfect for a fantastic whitewater rafting experience, and it is here that you can enjoy either a relatively gentle grade II & III journey on the Kawarau River or challenge yourself to a knuckle-biting IV & V adventure. Either way, you can expect an action-packed experience, tackling a number of rapids on your descent. You are in safe hands with your professional guide who, in quieter moments, will also tell you a bit about the area and give you an opportunity to observe the beautiful scenery of the river valley. No experience is required but you must be a confident swimmer.
