You start this full-day trip with a transfer to nearby Manapouri whereupon you board a modern catamaran to cross picturesque Lake Manapouri. At the other end you board another coach for a short transfer across Wilmot Pass, stopping at the top to enjoy your first, breath-taking, view of Doubtful Sound. Once over the pass you arrive in Deep Cove and board another boat for a three-hour cruise along the fiord, with interesting commentary from the on-board nature guides. Keep an eye out for dolphins, penguins and seals as you cruise past the spectacular scenery and enjoy the immense peacefulness of the fiord. You return to Te Anau by the same route. A picnic lunch is included.
