Cathedral Cove is one of the Coromandel’s most famous scenic spots, with a photogenic limestone arch at one end of a golden sandy beach and the turquoise waters of Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve lapping at the shoreline. Departing from Hahei beach you will paddle along the coast, exploring sea caves and viewing the marine wildlife, before arriving at Cathedral Cave for a hot drink. Here you will have time to stretch your legs and take photos before heading back. Along the way you will learn a bit about the geology and ecology of this magical spot. The whole tour takes around 3.5 hours.
