Akaroa Harbour is an impressive inlet, created by the collapsed core of an extinct volcano, and has a scenic shoreline punctuated by several small settlements. It is a haven for wildlife and on this two-hour nature cruise you will set out to learn about and look for the rare Hector’s Dolphin, fur seals, sea birds and even little blue penguins. You will also pause to view historic and scenic sights and have plenty of opportunity to take photos of the beautiful surroundings, with interesting commentary provided by the skipper.
