The Tasman Glacier is a spectacular sight, flowing down from the Mount Cook glacier field. On this two-and-a-half-hour tour you are taken by coach from Aoraki Mount Cook Village to the Tasman Valley where you embark on a thirty-minute alpine stroll to the lakeside. You then board a small boat which cruises gently towards to the terminal face of the glacier. View the impressive wall of ice from a safe distance and watch icebergs float by, all the time surrounded by the magnificent mountains of the national park.
